CEREC Intra-Oral Scanner
They reduce the need for remakes, so patients don’t have to worry about coming back to the dentist to try again.
The scanner is a small hand-held tool that provides images of your mouth to the dentists screen. The benefits are:

Consultation and Implant Planning
In you initial appointment, we carry out a thorough assessment of your mouth, gums and teeth and plan your implant treatment. We take digital x-rays and models of your jaw to determine the placement of the dental implants. We will explain how the procedure works and answer any questions that you may have.
The Healing Phase
Following the surgical procedure, there is a period of healing normally 3 months before your final teeth are attached. This period allows the dental implants to integrate into the jawbone.
Fitting and Follow up
Following the healing period, your new tooth/teeth will be crafted to match the colour and shape of your natural teeth. The new tooth/teeth will be attached permanently to abutments which connect to the dental implants. We check the functionality and aesthetics to make sure you are completely satisfied.
Placing your Implants
At your next appointment, we place the dental implants in one visit under local anaesthetic. We open the gum and drill a small hole into the jaw bone. The implant is placed into the opening.
